The lion is one of the largest Big Cats found in Africa.

Edward Gerrard set up his Taxidermy practice in 1850 whilst he was working for the British Museum. The company remained in the family and operated until 1967.

Condition:

A fantastic skin mounted by the famous naturalist Edward Gerrard.

In good original condition.

The label to the rear of the skin has some minor damage.
