A beautiful Blonde turtle shell. Shells like these are produced by removing the shell material or “Skutes” and then polishing the carapace below for many hours until a high sheen is acquired. They were often brought back by sailors and are a highly prized for their natural beauty.

The Arrau River turtle, or South American river turtle, is the largest of the side-neck turtles. These turtles are found in the Amazon Basin.
